You are currently examining Reggie
Reggie needs treatment to improve his chance of survival and relieve his symptoms.
Ideally a diuretic, Vetmedin®, an ACE inhibitor and spironolactone should be prescribed in combination to improve his symptoms and improve his cardiac function. This will increase his survival time and improve his quality of life.1,2
A follow-up appointment should be scheduled within the next 1-2 weeks to check his RRR, HR, serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen and electrolyte concentrations.1
This may not be the best choice for Reggie.
Waiting 6-12 months for a re-check could be too late for Reggie. He is showing symptoms and has a confirmed diagnosis of CHF, which requires treatment.
